Minneapolis South Tigers Varsity Clinches Lead in Seventh Inning for Victory Over Edison.

​Minneapolis South Tigers Varsity nabbed the lead late in the game in a 9-5 victory over Edison on Tuesday.
Minneapolis South Tigers Varsity opened up scoring in the second inning. Carter Peterson drove in one when he singled. In the bottom of the fourth inning, Edison tied things up at three.
Minneapolis South Tigers Varsity tallied three runs in the seventh inning. The offensive onslaught came from a single by Samuel Cooper and John (Jake) Olson and an error on a ball put in play by Tyler Petersen.
Petersen pitched Minneapolis South Tigers Varsity to victory. He surrendered three runs on five hits over six and a third innings, striking out eight. Samuel Cooper threw two-thirds of an inning in relief out of the bullpen.
